We said good bye to Grandpa Gera this morning (aka Dadu) who will be returning to London, England.
The babies will miss you!
The long weekend was nice. Dadu, Geeta, and I took the kids for walks including an outing to Toronto's Distillery District - the babies were quite the tourist attraction. At one point, we stopped for ice cream and within 2 mins we had a crowd of 15 surrounding the kids! It was kind of crazy, but everyone was really nice and just curious for the most part. We realize that the 'Little Ship' (aka our stroller) is quite the attraction and I guess most people have never seen triplets before. Jaiden put on a bit of show with his constant smiles for the audience - almost like he knew he was getting lots of attention. We also went for a stroll in a nearby forest (yes - T.O. has a forest downtown by the Don Valley Parkway and it is amazing to walk/run through it) - the kids loved the sounds of nature and the mist and sound of the stream.
What's new?
The babies are starting to smile more and more - sometimes on demand. They pay more attention to their Dr. Seuss Baby books and it sometimes feels like they have a favourite page in the story book. They are growing super fast. They are sleeping longer. They are recognizing mommy and daddy more and more. They love the outdoors and the sounds of nature. They are sleeping less in the day playing more with their toys!
Oh - and we are so glad to have Sarah (our nanny) back from vacation!! Welcome home.
We had some visitors this weekend...
Avinash Uncle and Sangeeta Auntie visited us from Brampton..
