JJ & KK - Post Haircut
Random from the Fall...
We’re almost at Christmas all over again! They will turn three in February. The babies definately know
who Santa is and they are on their best behaviour hoping that Santa will bring
them the right presents! 'Jingle Bells' is one of their favourites these days. Surely, as
parents we’re more excited about celebrating this year given how excited the kiddos
are…they are ready to get the tree already!
The boys just got their second haircut – they now look like little
boys. We were at a point where almost
everyone thought they were little girls because of their long hair.
JJ is so talkative and frankly surprises us everyday with
something he’s learned. The other day he started singing an Indian song, ‘Sheila
Ka Jawani’, totally out of the blue. He’s
got quite the memory and seems to be quite good and remembering lyrics to songs
after only hearing it once or twice.
KK has got a real knack for linking things together – he’s a
little book worm and loves reading about animals….when we took him to the Museum
of Nature he was totally able to relate to the animals and the displays. There was one of a polar bear hunting a seal underneath
the ice – if you ask KK about that he will tell you that the bear ‘wants to eat
the seal because he’s hungry and has sharp claws and teeth.’
Ariya Bella is still her independent self. She’s a wonderful artist and really likes
colouring, making crafts, and playing with play-do. I wonder if she’ll want to
be an artist one day. She’s amazingly flexible
about things and tends to side with her daddy. She’s daddy’s little girl! Ariya is very good with puzzles (like her
mom) and if you mix a bunch of pieces together she can usually work multiple
puzzles at once.
